Educational Philosophy:
My name is Konnye (pronounced like Connie) Ford and I have been an educator for over 15 years. I believe that ALL students have the ability to learn and become productive citizens in our competitive and global society. I enjoy facilitating and discovering the different ways of helping students obtain knowledge.

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Minor in Education and Music) - Fort Valley State University 1999
Professional Experience:
4 years: GNETS @ South Metro - Educational Therapist Grades 9-12
10 years: Self-contained EBD Teacher Grades K-5
2 years: Paraprofessional for Mathematics Dept. Grades 9-12
2 years: General Education Teacher Grades K-5
3+ years: Special Education/Resource Teacher Grades 9-12
Personal:
I am originally from Albany, Georgia. I graduated from Monroe Comprehensive High School. I now live in Macon. I am a 3rd generation graduate of Fort Valley State University in my family. I have two daughters. I love travelling, singing, cooking, designing and making clothes and jewelry.
