Educational Philosophy

My name is Lynda Yaughn, and I have been an educator for over 25 years.  I love teaching, and I enjoy my students every day! Literacy is my passion in education, and it is my sincere desire to see ALL of our students graduate with the skills they need to be competitive and successful in the 21st century job market.

Education

Bachelor of Arts in English - Mercer University, 1991

Master of Education in Instructional Technology, Library Media - GA College and State University, 2004

Professional Experience

11 years - English Language Arts Teacher Grades 7-10

18 years - Media Specialist Grades K-12

Personal

I have lived in Roberta, GA my entire life.  I grew up in Crawford County Schools and graduated from Crawford County High School.  I married my husband, Gregg Yaughn, over twenty years ago, and we now have two children that attend Crawford County Schools.  We have a close extended family and circle of dear friends in this community we call home. We love to camp, travel, and spend time together at our country home!  I feel truly blessed to live in our small, rural Georgia town and to be a part of Crawford County Schools.
