Good Afternoon Eagle Families: In light of the upcoming weather expected from Hurricane Helene we have some important announcements. The homecoming parade schedule for Thursday will be canceled. We will not reschedule that at this time, and any entry fees will be refunded. On Thursday we will dismiss car riders at 1:00 and bus riders at 1:15. We want to ensure that students, parents, and staff have an opportunity to get home and prepare for the storm. There will be no afterschool activities of any kind on Thursday. Please ensure all students have a transportation plan for dismissal. The home volleyball game and senior night will be rescheduled hopefully for a date next week. More information will be posted about that as soon as it is available. Friday will be an asynchronous learning day, assignments for the asynchronous learning activities will be distributed in classes on Thursday and will be posted to teacher’s Google Classrooms. To be counted as present on Friday students will need to return those assignments on Monday, September 30. Paper copies of assignments will be available. The Homecoming Football game will be rescheduled to 12pm on Saturday, September 28, conditions permitting. The Homecoming dances will continue as planned with the middle school dance beginning at 4, and the high school dance beginning at 7, conditions permitting.
