Dear Parents, Guardians, Staff, and Community,

I am writing to inform you of an incident that occurred at Crawford County Middle High School on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at approximately 1:32 p.m.

During an altercation between students, our emergency alert system was activated through a Centegix badge. School administrators and safety personnel responded immediately and followed
established safety protocols. The situation was addressed promptly, and the area was secured within approximately two minutes.

All students and staff are safe and accounted for. Local emergency responders were also dispatched as a precautionary measure to assist and ensure the continued safety of our campus.

The safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority. We are reviewing the incident and our response to ensure that our safety procedures continue to be effective. The Centegix alert system is an important tool that allows staff to quickly notify administrators and emergency personnel of safety or medical concerns when immediate assistance is needed. The alert system performed as expected and designed.

We appreciate the cooperation and support of our students, staff, families, and community as we continue working together to maintain a safe and secure learning environment.

Sincerely,
Lainee Hudson
Principal

Mrs. Moncrief provided an engaging and hands-on learning experience for her Introduction to Healthcare students during this week’s lab. Students learned about the proper procedures for donning, doffing, and utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE). The lesson allowed students to actively apply their knowledge in a practical setting, reinforcing the importance of safety, proper technique, and real-world healthcare practices.

In an effort to increase the safety of our fans and give everyone a positive experience at our games, Crawford County Middle/High School would like to inform you of important behavior expectations for all home football games.

The section of bleachers closest to the band is the student section (with band chaperones/parents allowed).

ALL students must remain seated/standing in the bleachers through the entire game unless going to the restroom/concession stand.

After going to the concession stand or restroom, students should immediately return to their seats. Loitering and/or congregating outside of the stands will not be allowed. Ball playing, games, or standing around in the area between the field and the old field house will not be allowed.

No outside food or drink will be allowed.

Failure to comply with these regulations could result in denied entry or removal from the stadium. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and GO EAGLES! šŸ¦…
